This webinar has been developed to review several aspects and considerations for implementing Myocardial Blood Flow as part of a successful Cardiac PET program. The faculty will provide an overview of the considerations necessary when performing myocardial blood flow including basic principles and methods, software, protocol and acquisition optimization, processing, and quality assurance review, and how to identify sources or artifact and errors. This webinar will be provided as the third in a series of presentations developed to provide a more thorough review of each of the aspects and concepts required to perform high quality Cardiac PET Myocardial Perfusion Imaging.

  • Discuss the basic concepts and principles for performing myocardial blood flow
  • Discuss the technical considerations for performing myocardial blood flow including software, acquisition and processing techniques, camera optimization and quality assurance
  • Discuss identification of artifacts and errors that may result in inaccurate data
